Yesterday, I finished my first book of the year, something I am a little ashamed of seeing as it’s October after all. There is also the fact that I still haven’t finished a book that I started in January. I really can’t get into non-fiction.
Anyway, as is pretty obvious, I read One Day. I had been hearing how wonderful the book was and decided to read it for myself. Now don’t get me wrong, I liked it, but it wasn’t as fantastic as I thought it would be. The concept of a book spanning twenty years by using the same one day each year was brilliant though.
